Mindless Babbel From a Mindfull Artist....
Web ID.

When Choosing a screen name or an e-mail address we are chosing an ID that will say something about us to those whom we send mail, chat, or even in blogging. When looking at screen names I cannot tell you the numerous times I have seen "69" & "666" thrown into a mix of characters.

Often I have recieved e-mails from people that have changed to a new account where they have incoroperated those digits. Naturally I delete it, because I have no clue who it is from. Honestly, if sending a professional e-mail with an account such as that, would you feel secure with your response back?

Gandering online I came across at site which said:
"The Top 500 AOL Screen Names. ...... 14. Tubby Biotch. 13. FriendofSatan666. 12. Hitler.
11. 2ManyXXX References. These top 10 screen names demand your respect."

Do these screen names REALLY deserve my respect?

I will admit taking pride in my screen names. They all have meaning to what I am about.

AOL: "That Karen Again" meaning: An ex's/ still close friend father didn't care for me too much. Whenever he would come and see me his father would say: "Are you going to see That Karen Again". So the screen name is an inside joke.

E-mail:
Old account- "swimpsycho39" meaning: It was my high school number in swimming. Also teammates claimed I was "psycho" for getting up at 4:30 AM to swim.... hence the name "swimpsycho".

Recent- "claystrung" meaning: I work with clay and the medium itself "strings" (leads) me along through life.

So what does your Screen Name(s) tell about you?

OccultPizza. MSN actually picked my name back when I played MechWarrior. When it was created it fit me perfectly because:

I have been a practitioner of the occult for 24+ years, and who doesn't love pizza?

Also it reminded me of Psychedelic Mushrooms on Pizza which is one of my favorites. I am very knowledgeable in Theology/Esoteric and I am also bubbly. Most occultist I have had dealings with in the last 24 years of my life are usually somewhat dark, serious and dreary, so I do not fit the normal profile of an occultist. Hence Occult being the serious esoteric side of me mixed with a fun lighthearted "Pizza" part of me. Not too mention I deliver pizza ~laughs~

All of my handles have some meaning and try to be somehow original. That's hard to do considering everything's already been Done, but.. lol
Lunaticus Minimus...There's a fine line between Genius and Insanity..And I'm near it. The only problem is..I don't know which side I'm on!
In tradition of Roadrunner cartoons..*holds up his sign* Lunaticus Minimus. (Only a little crazy...I hope)

Lol. I have forgotten why I picked XX years ago. It means X > X, however.

I keep this nick since I'm reasonable known with nick of XX in skinnable communities.

My only nick other than XX is Iare Tosevite, a old everquest charactor but reused for Lego forum at FBTB.

Wahkonta Anathema = Wahkonta is Native American name of Great Spirit; Anathema is the originl Greek word meaning the opposite of what most suppose it to mean today. To learn what Anathema means truly, one must study. I love the word so much I would change my name to it legally except one has to have a surname in my State to change it.

Superpsych - I'm afraid I don't have much of a story for this one, but I studied Psychology at University, then when choosing my email addy, I had to add something, and I chose super! My previous email, normsheep, has more of a story - but I really can't think how to write it down!! Maybe you'll just have to use your imagination... : ) Makes me want to use that screen name again, though!

Sorry for the boring-ness above...

H

PS I like the name fugmulch - it made me laugh out loud! Also, you definitely should have taken the name bandersnatch... lol!!

TARSIER- A small animal with extremely large eyes that lives in Bornio. Really cute fellow, if you like big eyes. Its a cool animal that no one has ever really known before. I use it for gaming. Its a smaller version of the Lemur.

Poisonpen - I went through a stage in my 20's that whenever I had a bad break up with a partner or something shitty happened to me, I would write a "letter" to the person involved, just to get it off my chest. The letters were never posted, just burned on the fire. Ten years on and my friends still refer to some of my 'poisonpen' letters. They were pretty potent writings!
