Mindless Babbel From a Mindfull Artist....
Mmmm....

Ever meet people that should have Theme Music? You know what I mean. Let us take for example the White Trash family in your neighborhood. Their's might sound something across between the theme of Roseanne and Sanford & Son.
I met this woman the other day while getting my daily cup of brew. She had this beautiful blonde hair, nice smile, but the most annoying voice... sorta like Fran Drescher. We talked as we waited for our coffee, and all I could think about is this disco sounding music (Daft Punk/Stardust style), with Edith Bunker (All in the Family) singing small parts in the song. It was the most ironic thing. I started looking around the shop, because I didn't want her to see me smirking. Nevertheless, she was a nice lady, who held great conversation. Now when I visit the local Gap, Express, or what have you.... I will have to listen to the trendy Muzak for more ideas of people around. I just hope the Edith Bunker voice doesn't appear.

Just a Random Thought....

"Reba" by Phish I would say is mine

Um...I guess it would be a cross between the "New Republic theme" from Star Wars and "I Stand Alone" by Godsmack---yeah I know twisted isn't it
on Jan 03, 2004
Actually, not twisted at all. I once had someone tell me their's would be a cross between The theme of "What's Happening", and ABBA's "Dancing Queen". The eccentic part is he was one of those Hard-Core Wrestling types... and he was being serious. *Ponders* Mmmmm.....

Most of the time, mine would be "I Do Believe" ... the rest of time "Frantic" ... hail hail MetallicA!!!!

She works hard for the money - Donna Summers. That would be mine.

I think that I would like "Spanish Flea" (by Herb Alpert,) or "Manah Manah" ("by" the Muppets.)

When I give my baby son to my wife to be breast-fed, I like to hum the Darth Vader theme from Star Wars. It is kind of his de-facto theme song.

Clever question/ topic!

Jamie-
I love it! My journalism prof's theme is "Manah Manah". *Sings* Doo doo do do do, Manah manah.....
He hasthe Animal Puppet from the 70s when he was a child. We took it for ransom, and made videos containing cars, rope, and Sauerkraut. Long Story... I'll have to write about it.

Now I have the those songs in my head... thanks Jamie, I owe you a tune.

I would have to say, "Puttin on the Ritz" by Taco. Perhaps, "Rock me Amadeus", by Falco. They are both cheesy like me.
on Jan 05, 2004
*Snickers* You have to be cheesy to put Falco. Thanks for the laugh

What would be the requirements for choosing a theme song?
on Jan 05, 2004
I don't know if there are any requirments. In fact I don't believe there are any at all. I suppose it is the song that best describes you, another person, a dog, etc. If you randomly were walking down the street what would be the music you would hear in the background?
